I have been hosting BIG parties at my house for years. If you have been lucky enough to be at one of these events you know that I know how to throw a party. I always smoke a lot of meat. Texas style barbeque brisket and sausages. I smoke the meat all night the night before so I can share my other passion, playing music, during the party. To me, smoking 50 pounds of meat for up to 15 hours until it is perfect is as much as an art form as playing the Blues.
Sharing good food and good music is a great way to bring your friends together and now I’m bringing it to you! I got the inspiration for this from Frank Orrall of Poi Dog Pondering. I went to one of his Chef Franc dinners and had a amazing time. It was so great to see Frank do his thing in the kitchen and share some time with him in a small setting. It is a special experience to cook and play music for people in an intimate setting and what could be more intimate than your home!
We bring all the food, including sides and dessert, and our instruments. You supply the plates, silverware, etc. and your choice of beverages.
We come to your house to cook, serve and mingle and then break out the instruments after dinner.
For smaller parties around 20 people I will bring one partner to help and play. For larger parties up to 100 we will add more band members to help out.
I can guarantee you great food and music and a good time for everyone!!!
